    Stu please correct me if I am wrong I appreciate this could be confused with a (more common) black chested snake eagle but I don't see a black neck/chest. I appreciate a suboptimal pose, I have another pose looking forward but he is also looking downward so I went for this one. I did prepare one removing the dead bough but decided I would post as it was.

    The big problem here aside from the clutter and the blocked feet is that the head is turned away and thus has been left in the dark ... Bad luck. Good job on the EXP.

    Better head angle would have been ideal. The high key look is nice.

    Exposure is great, but there is just too much going on in the foreground. I'd also rotate frame CW a few degrees so he isn't leaning so much.
