    Small in the frame works well here. Plus these birds are pretty small.

    The bird looks great but so does the background, I know these are pretty fast little ducks, I think you have caught it very well. I like the downward position of the wings.

    I love everything about this one, the SH and EXP are perfect, the BKGR is neat, and the image design is spot on. Was this full frame?

    Looks really good for the heavy crop, Tim. These guys are really tough to get onto the sensor so this is a nice result! Details and exposure on bird are excellent.

    Hello Tim, I like your image, the BG is super, such a painterly feel to it and then along comes the ever handsome mr. bufflehead, speed demons and smallest duck in the States... Good job nailing the iridescence as well. Look forward to more waterfowl, bring em on Tim!

    Hi Tim, great flight pose with the full downstroke of the near wing, and pops nicely from the BG. I like the effect of the OOf BG as it seems to be spreading out from a central point. Small in the frame works well too.
