    Better but with the sun angle that was given you you needed to capture the downstroke as the shadow on the face is NG. SH and EXP good and I do like the raised foot. All that said images of this bird are pretty rare ...

    I like the turbulent water, raised wings, visible leg, strong diagonal created by the wing. Agree about the shadow, but I guess for this situation, the raised wing adds enough to the image that its a trade off.
