    What a cracker absolutely first class colours exposure spot on focus ideal background perfectomondo!
    It could be argued the died up plant is a little untidy but it does not in my opinion detract from the dragonfly being beautifully presented. You are making me think I should make a last minute visit to a nature reserve about an hour's drive from home, if I could get something like this I would be well pleased.

    Thanks Jonathan,

    Have had some pretty poor dew covered macro photography conditions here this summer. Might have a couple more opportunities before it's all over. We'll see.

    Great image. the plant doesn't distract me. Love this. Tried taking a similar one a couple of years ago, but I couldn't get both the head and the tail in good focus.
