    I like the walking pose, eye contact and natural setting. I remember seeing them near the visitors center there years ago. Nice image John.

    Really nice to see this guy in natural looking habitat. I like the detail on the foot through the grass. Good result for what looks like fairly flat light.

    Nice image of one ugly bird!!
    The pink flowers really add a much needed pop of color. I really like the setting here.
    Sharpness and details in body look great but I would sharpen the head a little bit more. Could be my eyes and the fact that it is early morning and I have only had 1 coffee!

    Exposure looks good and that BG sure shows the bird well. Nice pose on the bird, details and colours.

    The pinkish flowers match the color in the bird's head which unfortunately does not look as sharp as the bird's back. Where was the AF point?
