    Roseate Spoonbill from Little Estero Lagoon a few weeks ago.

    D300, Bigma at 270mm, f/6, 1/1000s, -1.0EV or -0.7 cant remember, ISO 200

    Love the wing and the water splashes!!!!!! Good detail! Something about the head and neck sorta bug me but I'm not sure why?

    Oh like the light too.

    Hi Harold - Gorgeous bird - love the drops of water and the take off action. OHH FORGOT - Wing position is perfect

    Could be just my monitor - whites look a littlle over.

    the whites arent over, but dang close!! i actually toned them down and the some things happened and you didnt get to see it!! sorry!!

    hI harold - ahh....... I think AL actually told me that anything over 240 will look blown on the web even though it's not.

    Great job - love that water just hanging in mid air.

    We have a couple of spoonbills out here - only white as far as I know though. Have noticed a bit of a difference in a few of them lately -- not sure if the are young ones, but they have a pale orange patch around the eye area.

    I love the action here nice colors and nice dark green background. The wing position is fantastic...:cool:

    Great capture my friend. Had not logged for a couple of days so I had not seen this post. Excellent focus, exposure, composition, and background. One of your best flight shots.
