    Nice bird Nice rain. Just a hair too much head turn; with this pose perfectly square to the back of the camera would be perfect. Great to see the white feathers of the speculum. If it were mine, I would lose both bits of crud with a Quick Mask .. .The one sticking the bird in the breast is a bummer.

    Hi John, beautiful bird (that I have yet to photograph), nicely shown. Exposure, detail, and color all look good. If mine I would remove all of the smudges of vegetation caused by low water, also the two pieces of vegetation touching and near the duck. Thank you for sharing.

    For sure the two branches in the water need to go as they spoil an otherwise neat rain drop-speckled water surroundings. Nice details on the Gadwall.

    Nice exposure and good full-body look at this guy. Flat light waterfowl are tough though. We really need that sun to bring out their subtle colors.
