Obviously not really in one, but it kinda has that vibe! This little juvenile spent quite a bit of time in an appealing area of an otherwise dirty spot.

Classic low angle. The vegetation is a nice touch. Nice pose on the bird. Details look great.

Beautiful low POV shot of this youngster, nicely posed and framed in the vegetation.

Could not be better. The sharp grasses on the right are a huge plus and so is the rest of the vegetation.

Excellent image Daniel. I like the pastel colors, setting, IQ, low angle and composition.

The vegetation is perfect in this frame.
Love your signature low POV and love those clean juvie feathers!
I like the partially raised foot that explains why these guys are called semi-palmated.

Crawling in the mud again, Daniel... love the image. I go back and forth regarding removing the darker vegetation about one third up on the left side, my eyes are drawn to it. Thank you for sharing.

The bird is great, but the vegetation is perfect. It's add a wonderful touch of context without being at all distracting. Lovely detail in the bird's whites as well.

Beautiful frame Daniel. Vegetation and the bird are perfect together. This is one of my favorite shorebird images you have posted. This and the Spotted Sandpiper shot are the ones that stand out the most to me. I have many frames of this species but none as beautiful as this.
