    Default pintail wing position...

Last two posts have been pintails and getting good suggestions about wing positions. Here is a female northern pintail and would like to know if this is an "ideal" wing position that shows both wings... Another from Bosque.

DPP, crop, levels, sharpened, NR Also, reduced an "orangey cast", removed multiple catchlights

Another beauty Ann. Wow you killed it with Pintails. Love the pose, details, and the beautiful and complementary background. Has all the elements of a beautiful bird photo for me. In a perfect world the wings would be fully extended up to be ideal wing position but this is still great. Super frame Ann!

Very nice. The light, background, and flight pose are all great. I like this wing position. You have a nice view of both wings.

What a beautiful flight capture, Ann. Don't think you could ask for a better wing position, nor a better complimentary background. Well done.

If I were to close my eyes and dream of an Image of a hen pin tail in-flight, this is what I would see!! This is truly a Rockstar!! This is about as close to perfect as it gets. The details, Colors, HA and action are all fantastic along with a beautiful background. I would love to have this in my portfolio. As far as the wing position goes, it's about as good as you could hope for. Maybe the right wing raised just a hair more but I would never even worry about it in a killer image like this. Wow girl you're sure stepping it up I think we should print one of these on one of those 24 x 36's you've got coming!!

Loverly but ditto Isaac. If the near wing had been fully raised, the shadow would have disappeared. Otherwise, fantastic.

Another gorgeous Pintail, Ann. You're nailing them. Excellent flight pose in my book, great exposure, detail, BG.
