I'm continuing to go through old files, and came across this portrait of a Horned Grebe, captured when he visited my local lake late one spring afternoon in 2015. This was taken using the Nikon 500f4 plus the 1.7 TC. I've rarely used the 1.7, having convinced myself that I wasn't getting consistently sharp images with that combination, but this one looks pretty sharp to my eye. WDYT?
