Nice view of this female. The tree removal looks great. Wish the other ear was up. But that's easier said than done.

The head is nice and sharp, I like the look in the eye. I wonder if a slight crop from the top will make this better. Also the body of the moose could have been a little sharper.

Hi Jonathan -- I liked the soft colours and the details in the fur.

I wished the Moose was more in the clearing, the FG vegetation especially in front of the snout and the yellow leaves in the lhs are not working for me. Considering the low light you couldnt have stopped down for more dof to get the rest of the body sharp and not a deal breaker here IMO.

Hi Jon, I think this is great and perhaps the best 'Moose' you've posted, my only wish would be to lower the whole frame.

Jon, you already have my thoughts, but lets see what others have to say, before I add mine as it's great to see other folks thoughts and not 'swayed' by mine perhaps.

Hi Jon ...well this frame is great for me in terms of tone and color . Love the color palette !!!!! Just the yellows in front are a tiny bit dominant ...just drop them ion color and tone !!!!
The only real issue for me is the " wrong " placement in the frame , IMHO . The BG is nice , but too dominant for me .
Would it not have been great ... if both ears were facing forward , but hey this guy might have heard something else during time of exposure .
Well processed Jon ....maybe you can extract more fine hairs in the fur .......with right amount of NR .
    Nice work ..TFS Andreas

Hi Jon - I'm late to this one. I very much like the fall color palette here and the moose in habitat image. This is how they are most often seen in the Greater Yellowstone area, browsing among the sage and other scrub brush. My only real issue is that I want more room below and less above. Nice one.

    TFS,
    Rachel
