Captured this portrait near Little Vumbura camp, Botswana in the Okavango delta this past February. These beautiful creatures are quite plentiful, and a lot of fun to watch, often in pairs with interesting behaviors. C&C welcome.

Nice details, love the shadows of the lashes on the iris. Exposure generally good except the whites of the supercillium feathers just above the eye are hot and have lost some detail.
In a perfect world, would like the head rotated just a couple of degrees more towards us.
Sharp and a neat bird. Ditto on the harsh light and the need for a bit more head turn (to 90 degrees ...)
