    Hi John,
    I like the details throughout on the mushroom and the curvy diagonal of the subject is a nice aspect of the image. To me, a couple of distracting elements are the oof foreground and the green in the BG to the left of the mushroom head. Might be able to lose that green patch in the BG.

    What a belter i really like it very much. the cockeyed composition works well, the colours and detail are top notch. easy to say after the even but I would have done a little gardening before hand to eliminate the green patch in the background and to try to reduce the size of hazy area in the foreground. - Also the straight twig.
