I have done quite some tidying up - hope not too obvious!

I suspect this may mean more to me than to you! Shortly after first light, it was quite cold, my feet were wet, hands cold, and a moose walks down a steamy river, the moment is unforgettable.
I think the moment exceeds the photographic merit. If you are not keen on it that's fine no offence taken. In retrospect I may have gone in a bit tighter - this was a crop and I would probably have gone for 1/1250 sec.

Hi Jon, well said about how certain images may not be perfect but are associated with the special moment in the field. I really love the light, how it reflects off the water, mist, yellow vegetation in the BG. Of course, how you wish moose was at an angle 90 degress or less to the camera.

Hi Jon, a very moody scene with nice warm morning glow and light, but sadly its not grabbing me due to the animal angled away. I totally understand it must have been surreal to experience it in those conditions.

Hi Jonathan -- This is indeed a very moody scene , i loved the settings and the feel to it. I just wished the Moose was more parallel to the sensor or looking towards you , makes a big difference at how we see things differently.

I like this a lot. The fog and water add a nice amount of atmosphere here. I wonder where the moose is heading off to. The comp is nice.

Hi Jon - I too love the mood here and it instantly evokes memories of my own visits to Wyoming, Grand Teton N.P. and Yellowstone N.P. so I can understand why you love it. However, the moose being angled away makes it more about those memories than the aesthetics of the image itself.

Lighting/morning mist and mood are first rate here Jon, but can't help but agree with the angle of the moose, and that's a real shame, because this could have been a real cracker!
