Captured this image near Kwetsani camp, in the Okavango Delta, Botswana this past February. There seems to be a bit of posterization in the sky, which is not in the original file. C&C welcome.

I like the DOF and you have good detail in the ele hide. I don't know much about posterisation, luckily I am not experiencing much of it. All I can suggest is did you make any adjustments to the sky, if so what happens if you minimised them? I am assuming your resizing and preparation for web is common to your other images?

Nice view of this family group. Framing looks good and you have nice eye contact with all of them.

Hi Geoffrey -- I liked the head on view and the texture in the hide. Overall the image appears a bit dark to me, might slightly open up the midtones. I also would provide some space in the direction where all the elephants are looking . Dof would have been f/8 atleast here and at the same time pushing that iso. Not sure abt posterization but you could try a BW version here .

Hi Geoffrey - It's great that they all cooperated and looked in the same direction. It seems like you were close so while dof works I probably would have stopped down with a group like this. Watch the whites on the tusks, some are hot. As to the posterization I would echo Jon's questions. Finally, I too would like a little more room on the left.

    Rachel

Thanks everyone, and for your suggestions and advice. This is full frame, but with some delicate work I could add some space to the left. Jonathan yes common to other images.
