    Hi all,

Unexpectedly busy month for me, but hopefully some new stuff to share soon. For now, a puffin from Farne Islands from mid June. Background is the ocean. Cropped off about 25-30%. Compressed the file a decent amount to get under 600 kb.

    Camera: Nikon D500
    Lens: 300 PF f/4 + 1.4 TC
    Specs: 1/4000 ISO 2000 f/6.3

Thanks for looking and commenting on prior posts!

Nice dorsal view you caught here. The eels are a nice touch. Pretty neat pose on the bird as well.

Hi Alex, terrific flight shot of these "bird bullets", I like the pose, the feather definition, and the feet with a fanned tail. HA and mouthful of prey is terrific. Well done

Sharp with a beyond-fabulous pose. I'd like to see the face a bit brighter and perhaps a bit more detail in the upper back ... Check the RGB #s on the darkest BLACKs.

    This is fantastic Alex.
I love the funky pose, the sharpness and the bill full of prey.
    Well done,

Beautiful shot, I would suggest the darkest blacks are a little too dark.

Thanks all, bringing the face / darkest blacks up a tad helped. Much appreciated,
