    Nice image. The background works well with this bird. Too bad you can't see what it's carrying.
    Particularly nice image for hand holding that beast.

    Thank you for commenting Jack, they normally don't carry anything since they go down to the water to drink it. But looking at the image this morning it looks like I need to tone down the bright line on the background. I'll wait and see what others say.

    Sharp with a nice exposure and a wonderful downstroke pose. Bad luck with the placement of the green strip (though it could have been worse ...)

    Like the down stroke and the trailing water drops. The background is nice.

    Hi Juan, splendid capture, with trailing water drops. Great colors (exp) on the bird. BG is okay but busy, what is the tan thingy that reduces to a "line" under the tail feathers? TFS
