    Hi John - It's nice to see a buck but the busy bg here really detracts for me, particularly the tree trunk intersecting the head. The image has a lot more red than your recent posts but I see it was a late fall rather than summer shot. Also the buck seems very gritty though I'm not sure what's causing it. Hoepfully, you'll find the bucks in some of these more open fields where you've been photographing the does and fawns recently.
