I love gulls. The techs here are spot on. The head angle is perfect and I love the red eye skin. The image design seems a bit awkward to me with that sliver of the bend of the wing ... Maybe more or maybe less would be better.

I'd vote for more. I's also remove the tiny black speck above the eye. Nice looking whites, and the eye and bill look perfect.

I vote more as well, but I really like the simplicity and attention that the eye demands. That pop will remain even with an altered crop.

Nice sharp eye that really grabs your attention. Nice exposure on the whites. Adding less or more could help as others have stated but this is still fine image.
