    Tripod,Canon 5D II, Canon 24-105mm f4 L IS ISO 100, 0.3 sec, f18
    This is a blend, I took 3 exposures but I just used two, one for the sky and the other for the remainder.

    Nice dramatic scene. Like the bright foreground with the darker background. Gives the image some nice balance.

    Hi John.. I think the foreground is very strong but I the sky is a little too dark, for me anyway..I would feather the blend a little more so the gradient between the light and dark is softer...

    Jon & Don thank you for the feedback, it's good to appreciate differing views, i will prepare an alternative as you suggest Don - just to see which I prefer.

    A very nice late season scene Jonathan! Love the foreground light, but as Don mentions the upper part of the images is too dark for me as well.

    Hi Jon, I love the dermic lighting and the mist rising, but agree it does appear a tad dark in that upper part. Could see another version with a sliver off the foot, just above the log???
