Not sure about the english name of this bird but I think it is Pied Wagtail (according to a picture posted in this forum yesterday).
Once again a bird with both blacks and whites which I think makes it pretty difficult to get a good picture. Maybe would be possible to sharpen it more. But what about composition, background and position? Is it ok? What to change?
HI Mats you did well with the composition We always like placing the small bird in frame to a corner but don't think it could be moved much more to the right, maybe up a little.
The main thing here is the perch, it is large and has character, so it does compete for attention. Exposure wise you did well, some fill flash would have helped, the image is sharp and great looking bg !!! Excellent !!!
I cropped - dont usually like square centred format - but you get the idea - it takes the point of focus away from the perch.
Lightened the eye and sharpened.
Good lighting and exposure. As for the perch, may be it's there to tell us about the size of the bird? I know, I know, we don't know how big the perch is either other than..it's bigger than the bird :D
