I captured this image of a Muscovy Duck at Lake Morton in Lakeland, Florida. Not handsome but certainly unique... each one is different. This most likely is a male judging from the pronounced wattles. This duck is not native to Florida but a feral population has developed whether from migrating here or escaping from domesticated flocks. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Hi Joe, guess my maternal instinct kicked in, I love it too! The colors and details on the face are wonderful, BG is terrific. I like how you can see through the nostril. I wish the chest had been tack sharp as well, guess I got spoiled! TFS

Details are great on this one. Great background as well. The overcast light suites this frame very well.

I love everything about this ugly bird but the photo needs more room in the front for better compositional balance ... Perfect EXP and super sharp.

    with love, artie
