A hyena from Ngorongoro crater. It was a bit back lit but quiet close to us.

Hi Sanjeev, cracking portrait, likewise techs.

You could also go portrait and tweak the WB & shadows a fraction, nice one.

Hi Sanjeev - A nice portrait with good dof. I think the colors in Steve's rp look better and he has eliminated a bit of red/magenta cast. I would then darken the bg closer to the op as it allows the subject a little more separation and pop.

    TFS,
    Rachel

I like the composition of the first post more. Great background. Looks good all around to me.

Hi Sanjeev -- This is a fantastic portrait , loved the details and the way you have handled the light. Excellent techs as well. Steve's RP has improved this image , especially the colours. Nicely done.

    TFS !

Very nice indeed well detailed, my first reaction was that the colours were a bit out.... its comforting to know I am not the only one who gets the colours a little awry - especially in Africa!

Like this portrait, Sanjeev. Excellent detail and I like that it's back lit with nice front fill. Well captured.
