    Default Ready for Chrysalis

    I found this Black Swallowtail caterpillar in our garden preparing for chrysalis stage. The image is a little busy but I thought the behavior was interesting.

    Awesome find Allen, in my opinion (and many others), busy is just fine when you catch the right action. Plus, this guy is plenty isolated in the image.

    Don't mind the busy image here. The details look great. Nice and sharp where it needs to be. Hopefully we will get to see some frames of the swallowtail when it emerges.

    I agree a little busy but the caterpillar is well shown, I like the supporting strand attached to the stem. A good find and I like the colours and even lighting.
