Nice image, I really like seeing the foot/feet. Good colors, detail, perch and background. I guess the wing might be in a better position but no big deal. Thank you for sharing, Will.

Hello Will, terrific exposure, interesting wing position, and I like the turf he's standing on. If you have canvas Id suggest moving the puffin to the left and adding space to the right. I think I'll revisit my Iceland images!

Nice looking image here Will. Details look great and the colors are good as well. Interesting perch and I like the water as the background. To the right of the foot and on the dirt there seems to be an odd and out of focus bluish smear on the dirt. Maybe some cloning mark? I would add maybe 2 points of black to the blacks and take away 5 points of black to the whites in selective color just to make them pop a bit more. Easy fixes for a fine image.

Looks great Will, colours look spot on to me, there is a tiny amount of clipping in the blacks and reds which could easily be cured at raw stage. The low angle and visible feet and claws along with the blue sky make for a very pleasing image.

Hi Will, I quite like the capture, but for me it's just too tight at the foot, you needed more of the mound for the Puffin to stand on.

Hi Steve. I agree with you regarding the mound. Unfortunately there was another bird in front. Looking back on it now, maybe I should have been quicker, taken this shot, and also some with the bird in front, then had a look at cloning it out the frame. The bird pictured here, didn't hang around too long, before it moved off the mound. Something to think about, next time I come across a situation like this.

I think so Will, as from memory, some other shots/postings are similar, time to be selective, hope all is well.
