    I really like the light in the ears and whiskers, the eyes show excellent detail as does the fur, a clear unobtrusive background, this image has a lot going for it.

    Hi John - I like the backlit effect on the ear and the longer hairs here. Did you lighten the eye as I am a little surprised at the amount of detail and color given it is in shadow? Nice detail in the fur. The bg works here very well. You've certainly assembled a nice portfolio of deer shots this summer.

    Hi John, cracking detail, but agree, the eye is overworked. You do need to reduce the Blue/Cyan, amplified in the eye and muzzle. Not a lover of the 'sooty' black in the BKG, that needs addressing I feel and so it's more sympathetic to the subject.
