    Hi Dave - love the action you have caught here. The eye is sharp. Good work I havn't graduated to small birds - YET!

    I believe these little guys are hard to get out in the open.. Shadow across the body of the bird is distracting for me - its like it cuts the bird in half.

    Hi Dave,
    Lovely action shot!! Agree with Lance about the shadow - also the leaf in front of the bird is a little distracting - not sure if you can fix this...

    Hi Dave did well in capturing the little bird !!! They can be brutal

    As mentioned the line does detract Could also try sticking with him and trying to capture with clean bg behind the head? They will dart all over and at one point will have a better bg Photographing these little one is an art of love !!!

    Nice bird and he does look like a gourmand! Too bad about the shadow, I'm guessing getting the right position, sun angle and etc. is a challenge with these guys.
