    Default Chestnut Sided Warbler

    Called in with a smartphone app. cloned out 1 small branch and applied a gausian blur to the background because it was quite busy. I had a perfect background lined up but thats not where he landed.
    Converted in DPP and selective sharpening in photoshop
    1DXII 400 f5.6L + ex1.4
    1/640 f8 iso1600
    shot from a tripod in a blind.

    This is nice and sharp, especially for an f5.6 lens with a teleconverter. It looks as though you may have lost the whites around the auricular feathers. I wouldn't have guessed that you blurred it, nice job on that, and detail and colors look good. I might prefer a little more room on right. . . TFS

    Fantastic details! I like the colour and texture to the perch. I imagine the cloned branch was underneath the far foot - there is some red showing between it and the wing. Good comp, and I like the yellowish area in ULC.

    Beautiful bird. Nice job on the post processing. Excellent detail except in some of the white areas as already noted.

    Very nice. Good pose on the bird and i like the perch. I don't mind the background.
