Wonderful winter capture, John. I like his puffed up feathers keeping the cold out. Excellent colors and fine detail. I also like the few blurred snowflakes, with the exception of the one just under the perch.
Snow and lichen on the perch add to the scene.

With the heat spell we've been getting, this image is refreshing to look at! Good details, and overall comp, but I would love to see more life to the eye. I love the little feet sticking out of the feathers.
