    This was my first image of Osprey taken in Jordanelle state park, Park City UT

    Nikon D500, 300 f/4+ 1.4x TCIII
    ISO 800, f/5.6, 1/3200 sec
    Manual Mode, Matrix Metering


    Except the blue skies, I like the image.

    I like the pose and the stare and the flared wingtips. On my screen the bird looks to have a slight blue cast and washed out as the blacks look thin. TFS

    Thank you for the update. I agree with the watch out look, may be a but of curves/level will help.

    I did not notice the blue cast though...

    I agree with Alex here. Try those changes and see how it looks. I don't mind the blue sky here. TFS

    Nice flight pose here. Agree about the blue cast. Like the composition.
