    I really like the composition, and the thin perch works well. Good background too. Fill-flash would have worked wonders here, or raising the midtones on the subject. The "Shadows" slider in LR would likely give a positive result.

    I like the composition and simple image design as well as the perch. I think the whole exposure could go up a 1/3 - 1/2 stop. i think you could also warm the image up slightly as it feels a little cold. Beautiful reds in the neck. TFS

    Very Nicely done. I agree Fill flash would have been wonderful. I like the background. Shadow slider will definitely help.

    I agree with previous comments. Nice detail and pose. Great to catch the gorget in full red.

    I really like this one John. I'm glad you left that perch in, it balances the image well. Nice detail and colours on the bird, with a lovely BG.
