    Default Snowy day Redtail Hawk

    Taken this past spring in an area that consistantly holds Redtails. I liked the light snow falling on this image.



    Nikon D200 ~ Nikkor 300mm F/2.8 with 1.4x TC
    ISO 100 ~ F/5.6 ~ 1/125 sec ~ + 1/3 EV

    I like the wintery mood and light in this one. Exposure control looks good, too. Maybe a bit more sharpening of the bird.

    I love the mood and the tail wrap around the post. I would maybe take some off of the bottom....too much post for me.

    Really nice image here. It could be a tad more sharp on the face but the overall feel of this image is wonderful.
