This image was captured in Botswana, the Okavango Delta back in February of this year near a large pan. This group was just in the process of moving on after spending a while in the cool water and having a drink. They were accompanied by a number of Cattle Egrets. C&C welcome.

Hi Geoffrey, a nice scene with the egrets adding to the image making it eligible for the theme. The walking pose of the Eles is nice but wish the one on the left was not showing its rear. Good techs & comp.

Beautiful serene scene at one of the most beautiful patches of earth, Geoffrey! Nice to see the different generations in one group!

The scene you have caught is so tranquil Geoffrey ,the egrets dotted about really add to that feeling,I agree about that left ele....there is always an awkward soul in a group of animals isn't there

What a great moment that was. Yes, there's always one outlier, but 6 out of 7 ain't bad. Captures the spirit of the place nicely. I could imagine a version with some off the bottom for more of a pano, but quite lovely as posted. When are we going back?

Hi Geoffrey - A nice green season scene of the elephant herd. It's unfortunate that the uncooperative ele is in the fg and draws the eye. There's a heavy magenta/purple cast to the water and to the eles. Also there's a lot more detail you can bring out in the sky. Here's a quick rp but much more can be done with the RAW.

    TFS,
    Rachel

Nice capture with all these elephants by the water. Like how there are small and big elephants and the birds of course.

Thanks everyone. Always appreciate your input, Rachel. Tough there is a great deal more detail in the sky, which I looked at, I felt it was more distracting than appealing. Bill, tomorrow isn't soon enough.

Hi Geoffrey -- Loved the settings and vibrancy of the green season . The FG ele is a bit unfortunate. Liked what Rachel has done in her RP but certainly more can be extracted from the RAW. Lets see a RP from you by implementing the suggestions offered , this is a very nice scene indeed .

    TFS !
