Here is another from that sighting where they were facing towards the sun. Went a bit wider to include that distant elephant in the frame.

I like the first one better than this. There is more light on the elephants in this one. Just wish it had the same background as the other.

Hi Sanjeev - The light is better here but the eles look even darker. Nice textures that you brought out on the hides again. I agree the other bg gives that image a bit of something special not present here.

    Hello Sanjeev,

Another interesting behavioural image, the light was quite harsh but once again you exposed well. Lovely textures and some bits of mud here and there, I like those wet patches on the skin you emphasised so nicely.

I like the BG too with the big tusker looking so small, adds a bit of a 3D feel.

Hope in the next frame you'll be posting, the smaller ele turns around and gives the bigger one a big swat with his trunk! Just kidding

Have a lovely rest of the week-end,

    Gabriela

Hi Sanjeev -- I really liked the images from this sighting. Elephants are amazing creatures and their different behavioural aspects are a pleasure to see. You have handled the light nicely and inclusion of a distant ele is a nice addition. Agree with the comments above.

Hey Sanjeev,I went and looked at the other frame as well. I really like your framing going wider to show the ele in the bkg works really well. But I also really like the bkg of the first frame. . Nice to see the behaviour as well Sanjeev, seems like you had a blast over in Africa
