    Hi all,

    A gannet taken at Bempton Cliffs in mid June. In post, NR, sharpened, cropped slightly.

    Camera: Nikon D500
    Lens: 300 f/4 PF + 1.4 TC
    Specs: 1/3200 ISO 800 f/5.6

    Nice pose, light, and BG on this one. D500 and 300 f4 is a fun compact kit.

    Great frame Alex. Excellent feather details, rich colors, nice white whites and dark blacks. You did very well on this one.

    Very nice. Looks good all around. Really like the blue water background. Nice pose on the bird.

    Hi Alex, excellent detail throughout, sharp, and the colours look spot on. The Gannet pops nicely from the sea BG.

    Looks good Alex!
    IQ is excellent and perfect exposure on the blacks and whites.
    Often, this "pancake " wing position doesn't look nice but you were high enough to show the topside and it works really well,

    This looks very good Alex with great sharpness from wingtip to wingtip: surprising at f5.6 and only a slight crop. The processing on this looks excellent with good detail from light to dark plumage while preserving white-looking whites. Background provides good 'pop' and strong light handled well. Always nice to get a dorsal view as well. Nothing I'd change here.
