I like the pose and setting here. Nice BG as well. The backlighting is cool. Details look good, although I can see a bit of noise around the tail. The seaweed is cool to have in the frame. TFS

I really like the pose and color palette William. Backlighting is nice as there is still plenty of details here. I love the purple background which just looks fantastic for a shorebird image. Nice habitat as well. I agree with Alex and would run some NR on the undertail. Also I would deepen the midtones and blacks in selective color a touch. The backlighting has made them a bit thin. Easy fixes for a really nice shorebird image.

Low angle is great. The background is excellent. Nice pose on the bird and the rocks are nice as well.

Hi Will, lovely eye level capture here. With this angle, you have the Plover posed perfectly against the clean upper BG. The dirty feet add interest.

This is a really pretty image.
I love these little plovers- they are so photogenic!
I love the BG colors and the bit of seaweed at the feet.
    Very nice,

Extremely nice work Will. I love the luminous look to the legs barnacles on the perch and perfect soft background. Light is beautiful and gorgeous tone and detail on the bird. Excellent catchlight on the eye round it off. Hard to see how you could do any better than this.
