    This goshawk looks very serious. Nice pose and i like the thorn perch. The background is great. Light was harsh but you handled it well.

    Just as John says, my first thought was also that this fella looked so serious! Good comp, per, BG. I'd be tempted to clone away the branch that touches the bird, just an inch or so as posted, so it does not touch the wing. Gotta love those talons!

    Ha! We all have the same first impression-"grumpy looking bird"!
    Nice image though. Great BG and good look at the talons. The thorn perch is great and so typical of an african landscape.

    Very nice indeedd I really like the colours and the composition. I may have been tempted to brighten the eye just a bit to see if anything could be gained and if not left as is.
