No flashy colours like many of the other warblers, but its' bold patterns sure do make up for it! Also unlike many of the other warblers (and most songbirds) its' song is a thin whimper, barely noticeable unless specifically trying to hear one.

Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/100s., f/5.6, ISO 1600, natural light, handheld, full-frame, usual eye work, lightened under the belly and tail via dodge tool and also removed a greenish cast there via sponge tool, NR to the BG.

You kill it with these warblers. Good detail in the black and whites. Very nice background.

    This is nice Daniel!
I really like the fern/leaf in RLC.
IQ is excellent as always.Tack sharp even HH at 1/100 sec! Good technique!
Too bad that the branch splits into 2 on the left edge. I understand why you left it in -cropping it out would make the bird too tight to the LHS.

Solid shot of one of these guys Daniel. They never sit still and great job getting in on a nice perch and not the side of a tree trunk. I like the out of focus foliage very much as it balances out the image perfectly. No clue how you get such sharp photos as those crazy low shutter speeds.
