Early one morning this week Dottie and I went to Lake Morton in Lakeland, Florida. I found this Limpkin perched on one of the feeding stations, working tight I captured images for portraits. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nice one Joe!
I like the light and the preening action.
Do you have a bit more top and bottom to make this feel a bit more portrait orientation?
I love the blue in the BG.
Would have been nice if you had been able to move to your rileft to get the transition line from green to blue away from the head.
    Nice image,
    Gail

Hi Joe, a nice head shot with good preening behaviour. I like the BG and the illuminated eye.
