The pose on the gull and the falling prey is nice. The bird looks soft. I like the dark background. Looks to have some noise.

    Welcome Darrell,
You have come to the best forum to improve your photography. No "nice shots" here in the comments.
    You have a great BG.
I also really like the falling prey.
It is too bad that you were on the wrong side of the sun and that most of the bird is in shadow.
You can post at any PPI you want but 72PPI is fine for web presentation. This low degree of resolution also means that people cannot steal your images and print them up at a good quality level.
You only need PPI's of 240 or 300 for printing.
    Hope that helps,
    Gail

good eyes Mr. Mack. focus just missed. this is probably a 20% crop (or is it 80%?). it was a very loose shot, so i cropped in a LOT!

Thank you for the info Mis. Bisson...i tried to tell the seagull to fly around the other side so i could shoot with the sun behind me and blue sky in the background, but the seagull was a little preoccupied with breakfast and didn't listen to me. maybe i need to wrk on my directing skills or seagul-ese.
