    Hi all,
I thought I will kick off this month's theme with this elephant in Ngorongoro with the zebras in the BG.

Lovely shot Sanjeev! The sunlight well contained on the ele's skin, taking nice prominence over the other animals in the background. As for showing off his man-hood - well, that's an added bonus!

Hi Sanjeev -- A nice theme image here. This guy is huge ! I liked the framing and the inclusion of the clouds gives a nice feel to it . You have handled the light quite well and the PP looks good as well . I wish the part of the trunk where the zebra's in the bkg are intersecting had more separation but nothing you could have done about it. I am not sure but is there some magenta creeping in the whole body of the ele ?

    Nice one .

    TFS !

    Hello Sanjeev,

This is one of your nicest Ellie images.

Super techs, well exposed, lovely colours/tonality and textures on this elephant bull.

The zebra in the BG add to the image, nice BG, good framing. Sharpness is spot on.

I like everything about this, and especially the clouds - a beautiful scene well captured

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Hi Sanjeev - This is a nice scene. Good point about the zebras intersecting with the tusk. I'm not seeing much of a magenta cast to the ele. Thanks for starting off the theme. I have to look around my archives for eligible images.

    TFS,
    Rachel

Great frame of this elephant. Love the whole scene. This image has some nice depth to it. Looks to be a pretty big herd of zebras.
