From somewhere near the Little Vumbura camp in Botswana last February. Added a sliver of canvas top and left, and repaired a wing tip. I liked the looks of this branch so I kept him relatively small. The Okavango Delta offered lots of great looking perches. We sat and watched this guy for quite awhile waiting for the takeoff, and luckily this time I didn't blink at the wrong moment.

Very nice take off pose. Like the structure of the perch here. Like the high key look.

The take off pose is very nice, as is the old and weathered perch. But I do not think the image quality of the bird is up to your usual standards. It seems washed out, a touch noisy and not 100% sharp.

    Nice Take off.

I think the image could use a little bit of Vibrance/contrast .

Here's a repost, with some adjustments to give it a bit more pop. To my eye the bird looks pretty sharp on head, feet and wings, without much noise. But I don't have your 5K monitor. The soft plumage on the belly and leggings looks less sharp, maybe due to the nature of the plumage?
