I captured this one last month, on a misty morning, from a boat on the Isle of Mull.

Love this William, would normally like better head angle and intersecting of head and far wing But this works fine for me and the fish is a bonus.

Fantastic capture here Will (including the eagle's capture!). Excellent pose on the bird with raised wings and a look that says it means business. Nicely done to get that much detail at f5.6 from wingtip to wingtip too. If mine, I'd revisit a couple of things: I think there is a little noise on the bird if I'm not mistaken. I think you are using Neat Image now and that should be quite effective at cleaning that up without damaging the detail. Email me if you want a few tips there. I'd also play more with the overall exposure which I think needs to drop a little as parts look a little thin in tone at present especially around the head and rear wing. Still a great frame though and one I wish was in my files.

Nice flight grab of this eagle. Only nit is wish the far wing was up higher here.

Hi Will, you have captured a dramatic pose here, and love the expression on the Eagles face. I like the raised near wing, lots of detail to look at, and yes, I feel first prize what to have the far wing fully extended downwards. His catch takes this back up a few notches.

This image is all about that really cool and unusual pose.
Nice to see the fish in the talons as well.
Flared primaries and tail look great.
I am on my laptop traveling so cannot comment on noise on the birdexcept to say I do not see any on my laptop but I would heed Glenn's comments on that.

Thanks for the comments. Much appreciated as always. Hi Glen, yes using Neat Image now, still experimenting with it.
