    I do like the ungainly pose in this. I don't know the colours on this species but wondered if they were a little thin. Muted colours of the foreground and background are good although I think the green at the top could go. Still a very nice frame.

    Hi John, love the alert look from the Egret, and very well timed to have captured this pose. I like the tip toeing of the feet across the water. Well captured.

    Neat pose, almost like an "X". I'd likely do a bit of CCW rotation if mine. Good job overall...

    John ,great capture love the unbalanced legs crossed or the intense stare as it is trying to focus on prey perhaps next meal.
