    Default Coyote taking rest

A coyote rests in tall grass, Cuyamaca Rancho State Park, San Diego County, CA. 5DMIV + 300 f/2.8 I, 1/2000th, f2.8, ISO 640. The camouflage with the grass was near perfect, this image had substantial tweaks to the contrast to highlight the coyote. Thanks for checking it out.

Nice how the yote blends in with its surroundings. White balance maybe a little off here. You can post bigger on here.

    Dear Roger,

First of all, thank you so much for posting here on BPN Wildlife Lovely sighting of this coyote so well camouflaged in tall grass, well spotted!

Techs look good although I am not so sure about F2.8, I think I would have gone for F5.6 instead. Nice shutter speed though:)

Framing works for me. A little reluctant to pass comment on sharpness, detail or colours because the image is rather small, kindly note the posting size on BPN is now 1920 pixels on the long side at less than 600 kb - it would help a great deal if you posted this bigger, so looking forward to see an RP from you

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
