    The high key treatment is excellent, John. Just the right amount of detail and colour in the background for my taste. Good pose from the bird and effective composition.

    Excellent! I absolutely love the incoming wave at left. I'd likely remove the three spots underneath that wave (near left edge), but other than that this ticks all my boxes.

    This might have been merely good as a pure high-key image, but that wave puts it over the top. Well done. Yes to a bit of spot removal.
