I can see the difference in this colouration to the ones taken with your other camera, here I get the impression they are a little bit saturated especially the greens. The white patch round the neck and muzzle is not I suspect blown but I would be inclined to lower the luminosity there a little.

    Dear John,

Super portrait of this Whitetail-buck and I really like the quizzical expression on its face!

Framing works well although I am tempted to take off just a bit from the bottom, to eliminate those bits of vegetation. Hard to comment on colours though, the image overall seems oversaturated to me... but let us see what the others say? I have never seen this animal in real life and like Jon I am comparing this with your previous images.

Such a cutie, love the pose and those innocent looking eyes. Eye contact is great, BTW. Judging by your techs it seems you are shooting in difficult lighting conditions, nevertheless this is a very attractive image and I just cannot take my eyes off those antlers, I imagine they are so soft and velvety

Thank you so much for sharing, always looking forward to more from you,

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

    Hi John,
A lovely portrait with good detail and pose. Agree with the slight reduction in saturation and the crop from below. Nice eye contact!

Hi John - I like that we can see the texture of the velvet. Good suggestions above for improving this frame.

    TFS,
    Rachel
