This Laughing Gull silhouette was the result of another beautiful Ft. D sunset. Processed in DPP4 and PScc. I made separate levels adjustments to slightly darken the subject and lighten the surrounding water.

    ISO 200
    AV ƒ/6.3
    TV 1/1600
    Focal Length 360mm

Thanks for taking the time to look. As always, comments are appreciated.

Definitely a silhouette on an interesting background. It could be my eyes but the bird doesn't look critically sharp.

Love those specular highlights and the color in the background. Classic silhouette here.

This is very nice. Love the vibrant colors and the contrast of the bird. I agree that the bird does not look tach sharp but funny enough I actually prefer that for these types of shots. Somehow the deeply contrasting bird against the background is slightly less appealing to me. The bird being a bit softer in the frame eases the transition and I think creates a more pleasing image.
