    Default Osprey with Striper

This male Osprey feeds his family nothing but the best. He had a Flounder yesterday.

Oh, this is superb. Detail, light, exposure, pose, prey, all right on. I love the gruesomeness of the prey item. I see a double catchlight in the bird's right eye, if this were mine I would remove the lower catchlight. The whites on the left leg look a bit hot as well. Minor nitpicks though, incredible image to be sure.

Nice one John. Good head on look at the Osprey and the half eaten fish is a nice bonus. Beautiful image quality. I agree with Walker re the catchlight and the left leg (our right).

Like the head on open wing view you caught of this guy here. Too bad that wasn't a whole fish. But it is what it is.

Wow John - as the others have said, beautiful capture. Perfect exposure, perfect lighting angle, and I love the color and soft blur of the background.

I agree with the two minor tweaks offered, but man-o-man this is an excellent frame. Nice light, and incoming flight angle.
