    Hi all,

    A willet in flight from the Jersey Shore soon before sunset. Light NR, cropped to about 60% of the original frame, sharpened.

    Camera: Nikon D500
    Lens: 300 f/4 PF + 1.4 TC
    Specs: 1/4000 ISO 1000 f/5.6

    Nice flight frame of this willet. Nice blue water background. The pose and composition is nice, maybe a little tight on the bottom.

    Excellent dorsal view of the bird and great background. Detail looks very good from the highlights through to the darker plumage. I like the hint of shadow on the tail produced by the lower wing. Looks like a hint of softness on the bill, surprising at 1/4000 sec, but a minor nit.

    Awesome dorsal view of this Willet with that banking pose. Sharp, nice blues to the water BG. I'd probably be tempted darken the primaries on the lower wing just a bit more (or lighten the top one), but you managed quite an impressive image here!

    This is great, great pose, detail and BG. I agree with Daniel re primaries.
